sweater dog!
so i've been knitting quite a bit lately on the days i'm not working, trying to get gifts and stuff done. i hadn't really done anything on my knitting machine until yesterday. if you've been reading my 'real life' blog, you'll know that we have a little rat terrier at our house right now and he doesn't have insulating fur. so i made him a sweater.
thats about as good of a shot as i could get of him in it. he's taken to it well and it fits him ok. it was difficult to measure him for the knitware pattern generator and i think the arm holes came out a little tight, but some of that was from my creative way of binding off the arms and attaching them to the body at the same time like a 3 needle bind off. if i were to do it again, i'd use like reverse stockinette for a rolled egde rather than ribbing because having to do all that ribbing defeated the purpose of doing it on the machine. also, i think i'd generate a tuxedo style sweater instead of a simple pullover so it covered more of his back.
